Isis the Mother Goddess
Isis was the wife of Oseris and the mother of Horus who protected him
against his enemy
Seth who locked up his father Oseris in a coffin and threw it in the Nile
river.
Isis started searching desperately for her husband's body,
to bury it properly and finally she was told by some children where it was.
She hid the body and went to look after her son Horus.
Seth was afraid that she might bring Oseris back to life by her magic power
so he went to the place
Isis hid Oseris body and cut it to many pieces and scattered the pieces in
the Nile river.
When Isis found out that Seth did that she search for the parts and whenever
she found a piece
of Oseris body she she buried it and built a shrine on it.
Oseris became the king of the Dead and Egyptians hoped they would join him
after death.
